“Commit to a Single Viable Topic: What are you Most Curious About.”

This section stood out most while reading Exploring Topics and Creating a Research Proposal. To me, there aren’t much things more stressful than when you freeze while writing. Being unable to write due to lack of interest or knowledge on a topic can make writing a paper seem like a dreadful chore. Personally, I have felt so unconnected with a topic which I have had to write about that it seemed like I would never finish the paper. But choosing a topic which interests you can seem the complete opposite. With the right topic, possibilities on what to write about seem endless. The writing is no longer a chore but something you feel passionate about. Being able to type away while not just trying to satisfy the minimum requirement of words (we’ve all been there) is such a rewarding feeling. It is so important to write about something with passion.
