“Revising and Remixing your work” is important in writing because it gives you the chance to improve as a writer. It can take multiple times to get your point across in your writing and it is also unlikely that your first draft is perfect and the best work that you can do. Chapter 9 gives great ways on how you can review your paper. It suggests having someone look over it and help with the revisions as well as asking yourself questions on how it can be improved such as “What is the single most important revision I can make to strengthen my Author’s statement. Chapter 9 also gives great examples of follow up questions to ask people responding to your draft.
