Project 2 Research Proposal 

         A dream I have had ever since I was a little girl is to be a Wedding Planner. It has always been something that interested me and is something I could envision myself having a future career in. We all know that it must be a difficult decision of who a bride will allow control of their wedding. They must trust and have so much faith in the person they allow to make huge contributions and decisions for their special day. How do wedding planners draw their cliental in? What makes a couple think “wow I want this person to be involved in possibly the biggest day in my life.” Do the wedding planners advertise their business? Is it word of mouth and the particular business is recognized by a friend? To further my research, I have looked up wedding planning companies that are local here in Tallahassee. I plan to interview someone from the company “A Piece of Cake Event Planning.” This company gives a variety of options for those who wish for them to help plan their wedding. The company’s options range from letting the couple have most control in the planning to doing all the work from the bride and groom. I plan to ask them how they reel in their clients, how they decide which planner will be a great match with which wedding, and also which steps they take to ensure the wedding will go smoothly. These are questions that I will ask while interviewing someone from this company.
